A Thankful Heart

Be a good person to others and God will surprise you with many things, more than you can chew.

Be bad to others and God will not forgive you, and you will find yourself wondering and lost without any clue.

Father God, I love you. You care for me even when I’m unaware.

I often question your intent, despite those promises you’ve already kept.

I try to make sense of all around me, yet my eyes focus narrowly on my own needs.

You forgive my impatience and my self-righteous thoughts.

You secured my salvation through your Son’s death on the cross.

That’s why I respect You!

That’s why I adore You!

That’s why I worship You!

I just want to express how thankful I am to You!
